A Clean Bill of Health
A Clean Bill of Health is a pro bono campaign concept created to raise awareness of healthcare privatization in Ontario.
The campaign plays on the double meaning of a “bill”: the political bills that shape our healthcare system, and the medical bills Ontarians could one day be forced to pay.
Most Ontarians never see the cost of the care they receive, which makes it hard to understand what public healthcare protects them from. So the campaign makes that cost visible through an interactive website where users spin a wheel, land on a medical procedure, and guess the price.
An ER visit. An MRI. A broken arm. Childbirth. Surgery.
The reveal shows how wrong most people are — and how quickly a routine medical event or an unforeseeable emergency could become a financial crisis.
By turning healthcare policy into a personal price tag, A Clean Bill of Health makes the stakes of privatization harder to ignore.
